CHERRY LANE SHOWCASES DYNAMIC NEW SIGNINGS TO ROSTER TIES IN TEENAGE SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE PICZO
NEW YORK--9-27-07--On October 4th, Cherry Lane Music Publishing, whose elite roster includes the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend and Wolfmother, will present their new signings to the music community at a showcase at New York's premier rock venue, Snitch along with online partner Piczo, a leading teenage social networking site that encourages creative self expression.
Sensational pop/rock duo Trustfall is based in Washington DC, featuring 17-year old twin brothers Max Ernst (vocalist/bass player) and Spencer Ernst (guitar/backing vocalist). The prolific teens have been writing songs since they were ten years old, selling out premier venues such as the 9:30 Club in DC, and have had their music featured on ESPN, MTV, VH1 and Fox.
As a rising songwriter, Cori Yarckin rose to fame on Myspace with millions of plays of her upbeat rock/pop songs and was named one of "The Girls of MySpace" in RollingStone Magazine. She went on to win the 2006 Florida Grammy Showcase. Her music has been heard in popular television series such as MTV's The Hills, which often springboards up-and-coming artists.
Rocker Dilana is best known for her participation on the hit CBS reality-show Rock Star: Supernova. As the fan-favorite on the widely popular series, Dilana was the show stopper during the broadcasts, as well as on the tour that followed. With her impressive songwriting abilities and powerful vocals, Dilana earned respect and praise from the show's judges and viewers. As her career flourishes with a thriving worldwide fan base, Dilana is set to make her mark in the music world.
Piczo is primary sponsor of the event and plans to feature the showcased artists on its website through interactive content and exclusive interviews with the artists starting October 12th. Cherry Lane will make artist music available through players and downloadable widgets and an area where Piczo members will be able to 'meet the artists' through exclusive audio interviews and contests.
