PICZO EXPANDING REACH TO GLOBAL TEEN AUDIENCE

Launches Local Language Sites in Europe to Boost Teen User Base of 25 Million

SAN FRANCISCO--4-18-07--Piczo, the online social networking site for safer teen self-expression, today announced its global expansion from North America and the United Kingdom into Germany, France and Spain as part of a growth strategy to boost its user base of 25 million teens.

As the first part of a phased rollout of local language sites, this initial three-market push will drive the next stage of Piczo's international development and builds on its existing viral growth that began through 100 e-mails in 2004. The site delivers tools that empower teens to build and share their own personal online communities in a safer online environment.

The internationalization strategy aims to strengthen Piczo's coverage of teens worldwide with a greater reach into this audience than any other social network. Piczo is already seeing exponential growth in Germany with over 1.2 million unique users, up six-fold since September 2006. This announcement follows the company's series-C financing announcement earlier this year and its recent exclusive UK partnership with Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions. Piczo's movement into mature global economies provides a valuable gateway for leading brands to engage with the increasingly elusive teen demographic.

For 68% of French, 66% of German and 62% of Spanish teens who already use Piczo, the site is a way to have fun with their free time, make new friends and stay in touch with family members abroad.
